Quesnelia is a genus of the botanical family Bromeliaceae, subfamily Bromelioideae. Endemic to eastern swamps of Brazil, this genus contains 22 known species, primarily terrestrial growing. Larger varieties of Quesnelia have large green rosettes with a floral head of brilliant pink or red. The smaller species are tubular in shape, resembling billbergias, and are found growing epiphytically or on rocks in coastal mountains.
