Neoregelia 'Pauciflora' is a parent of many lovely hybrids. This stoloniferous miniature is probably the best plant for a hanging basket. Small upright green vases are spotted in purple and banded with silver. The neat thing about pauciflora is that the mother plants persist for many generations allowing an impressive colony of plants, making this stoloniferous miniature well suited for hanging baskets.

A interesting clone of Neo 'Pauciflora' with often referred to as "scurfy type". The leaves are longer than the original Pauciflora and flare out more. The green vases are mildly spotted in purple and banded with thin silver bands more on the outer lower leaves. The neat thing about pauciflora is that the mother plants persist for many generations allowing an impressive colony of plants, making this stoloniferous miniature well suited for hanging baskets.

Neoregelia 'Pemiento'. A spectacular cross by Skotak with bold variegation on green leaves with a bright red overlay on glossy leaves. Tiny specks of yellow are noticeable on the upper parts of the leaves. The variegation blushes a brilliant red, giving the plant a radiant look. A red hot beauty and a must-have for any bromeliad collector!
 

Neoregelia 'Petit Minou' is a lovely little miniature with bold burgundy banding on deep green leaves. As the plant ages the center cup turns completely solid wine red color. The plants stoloniferous habit makes it perfect for a hanging pot or a showy accent plant in terrariums.

Neoregelia 'Pheasant' is a cute little miniature by Grace Goode. As with most neoregelias, best color is achieved by minimal or no fertilizing along with strong bright light. Pheasant's leaves usually start green then become bright red with yellow bands and markings on both sides of the leaves. This showy mini is a terrarium favorite and is hard to keep in stock.

Neoregelia 'Pittsburgh Style' (Tristis ‘Oppenheimer’ x ‘Mocha Mint’). This multicolored medium sized Jim Irvin cross growing to 10 inches wide has a leafy purplish rosette, with dense purple spotting over green. Leaf tips are red. 
 

Neoregelia 'Popoki' (Punctatissima Rubra x Tigrina) by Lisa Vinzant of Hawaii. A miniature with yellow leaves banded and spotted with red. Growing pups on 6 inch long stolons, it is about 6 inches high and 8 inches across. The inch wide leaves are rounded. Offsets are great for terrariums, mounting and basket culture.

Neoregelia 'Purple Phantom' ((carolinae red variegated x princeps) x smithii). Light green leaves with magenta spotting and partial concentric banding, more vivid on the inner throat of the plant.

Neoregelia 'Red Bird' is a plant that closely resembles the popular neo 'Fireball'. The leaves are reddish colored with fine blood red spotting and pink fingernails. Grows up to 5 inches wide. Makes a nice cluster of multiples in time and looks great in a hanging pot. 

Neoregelia 'Red Bird' x pauciflora is a pretty compact miniature growing up to 6 inches tall. The leaves are green speckled with lots of tiny purple dots on the inner and outer sides, giving it a dark appearance at the base of the leaves. The purple coloration gets more intense when growing it in bright light. 

Neoregelia 'Red Waif' is a nice little miniature, under 4 inches tall. The plant is green, with lots of tiny red spots making it look a solid red. Stoloniferous, so it makes a nice cluster in a basket or pot. Great for terrariums.

Neoregelia 'Ritzy Red' (punctatissima x Fireball). A cute, stoloniferous miniature with an open shape and stiff, glossy leaves. A bronzy color with broken red banding and a red flush during bloom make a nice show. Great for terrariums or hanging pots.
