Chester Skotak introduced the Neoregelia 'Ink Well' cultivar, which resulted from the cross between (carolinae x concentrica) and (carolinae x concentrica), followed by a cross with 'Big Blue'. This remarkable plant showcases densely packed leaves adorned with a striking combination of Albo-Marginated patterns and deep purple splashes resembling ink. Its vibrant blooms reveal a captivating deep purple center, resembling an ink well, which inspired its name. The Neoregelia 'Ink Well' hybrid can attain impressive dimensions, reaching up to 22 inches in width.
