Aechmea ‘Raspberry’ is a hybrid of Aechmea aripensis that can grow up to about 30 inches tall, forming an attractive upright rosette of broad green leaves that shift to a more yellow tone in brighter light. The foliage is tough and lightly armed with small marginal spines. It tolerates near full sun, though it prefers some protection from intense all-day exposure. Its inflorescence is a compact, fist-sized cluster of short reddish-purple branches. This is an excellent landscape plant, adding bold color and visual interest to the garden.

Light requirements: Strong filtered light: Prefers moderate levels of light, such as bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Thrives in well-lit spaces without direct exposure to intense sunlight.
