Bare-Rooting and Plant Preparation:

For shipping purposes, we package and ship all plants in a bare-root state. Bare-rooting involves removing the pot and soil from the plant, which reduces weight and volume during transit. This method is particularly beneficial for bromeliads, as it helps safeguard their delicate foliage from potential damage.

Prior to shipment, it is crucial that all excess water is thoroughly eliminated from within the plants. This drying process is of utmost importance to prevent any potential rotting during transit. By ensuring that the bromeliads are properly dried before shipping, we take necessary precautions to maintain their health and quality during transportation.

Ordering and Excluded Locations:

To place an order, please utilize our convenient online platform. Simply add the desired items to your shopping cart and follow the instructions to securely complete the checkout process. Currently, we do not accept orders over the phone, as we prefer communication via email. Please feel free to reach out to us at sales@bromeliad.com if you require any assistance or have any inquiries regarding the ordering process. We will promptly respond to your email.

Excluded Location: Arizona

We regret to inform you that we do not ship to Arizona. Due to the requirement of a USDA Phytosanitary Certificate for shipping to this specific continental state, we have chosen to avoid the complexities associated with obtaining the certificate. Consequently, we do not ship any live plants to Arizona.

International Orders:

Due to variable package weight & dimensions and Phytosanitary Certificate fee, International buyers must email us your plant list so we can make a custom invoice for you. Please include plant name, plant size and quantity. Email to sales@bromeliad.com.

International buyers are required to fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Minimum Order Requirement: A minimum order of $400 is mandatory for international purchases. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.

2. USDA Phytosanitary Certificate: International buyers are responsible for covering the cost of a $70 USDA Phytosanitary Certificate, which is necessary for international plant shipments.

3. Full Shipping Cost: International buyers are accountable for the full shipping expenses associated with their orders.

Please note that these responsibilities apply specifically to international buyers and must be met in order to proceed with the purchase.
