Billbergia 'Moulin Rouge'
Billbergia 'Moulin Rouge' is a dark green, tubular plant that takes on a grayish tint with some white mottling that gradually turns pink as the plant matures. As with most Billbergias, the inflorescence takes the form of a spike that grows from the center of the plant, surpassing the tallest leaves and bearing drooping purple flowers. The colors of Billbergias foliage tend to become more vibrant and interesting as the plants age. To showcase its beauty, it's best to grow Billbergia 'Moulin Rouge' in clusters in an ornamental pot. When the sun shines through its leaves, the result is a truly breathtaking sight.
Growth habit: Small
Light requirements: Strong filtered light: Prefers moderate levels of light, such as bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Thrives in well-lit spaces without direct exposure to intense sunlight.
