Guzmania Sanguinea 'Cousin It' is an intriguing plant that undergoes a mesmerizing transformation, evolving from ordinary green foliage to a spectacular blooming display. The spineless leaves, in a rich dark green shade, grow up to a maximum size of approximately 5 inches tall and 15 inches wide. This Guzmania variety showcases glossy, curly foliage that cascades downward, creating a delightful ball-shaped appearance.

During its blooming phase, 'Cousin It' reveals a breathtaking show of vibrant colors. The central leaves undergo a stunning transition, flushing a vibrant spectrum ranging from yellow to orange-red, and finally to a deep red hue. Adding to its allure, the low-lying central cup, reminiscent of a Neoregelia, produces stick-like yellow flowers that can reach up to two inches in length.
