Vriesea fenestralis, a member of the bromeliad family, is a remarkable plant known for its large size. It boasts wide, curling leaves resembling ribbons, which contribute to its aesthetic appeal. The upper side of the leaves displays intricate lineation with varying shades of green and yellow, while the underside has maroon spots. Its full open rosette shape adds to its visual charm. During blooming, Vriesea fenestralis produces a pale yellow spike that can grow as long as 24 inches. This species is native to Brazil and typically reaches a height and spread of around 24 inches.
