xNeostropsis 'Shadeball', a captivating hybrid created by lisa Vinzant. It is a cross between Canistropsis burchellii and Neoregelia 'Fireball.' This hybrid showcases the interesting leaf coloration inherited from its parent plant, Canistropsis burchellii. The underside of its leaves displays a reddish-purple hue, while the upper side remains green, creating an eye-catching contrast. By incorporating the popular miniature variety 'Fireball' as the pollen plant, 'Shadeball' becomes a unique variation of Canistropsis burchellii. This delightful plant multiplies through 2-inch stolons, making it a perfect choice for hanging pots, especially when grown in multiples within a single container.

Growth habit: Small
